This new 40 hour CEU home study course includes 2 DVDs (Brandon's Story & Michael's Story), Unfortunate Hero: The Soldiers Path From Trauma & Addiction book/selfhelp guide, answer questions (on a separate sheet of paper) from the book as if you are the client, write a 1 to 3 page essay on what experiences you had from/while watching DVDs and a true/false posttest. The DVDs are live interviews between Dr. Evans and an addicted soldier survivors. Dr. Evans has designed this evidenced based course of working with military personnel, with PTSD and addiction. Brandon's story is a pretreatment engagement view of Dr. Evans focusing on safety and sobriety. This course is a MUST to prepare for our Suffering Soldiers who will be needing our care. Therapist vicarious trauma will also be addressed. Information for both counselor, and the client provided in this book. This 40 hour home study DVDs, book course is NAADC/NASW approved as well as pre-approved in most states.
